Students and their parents attended the alumni banquet where the awards were presented. They introduced themselves and their parents then told where they were attending college or technical school.
In 1889 the Scio Schools were formed on Schoolhouse Street in Scio. The next school was built where the present Barr Sports Building stands. The third was built in 1913 with an addition in 1917. In 1961 the front addition next to Main Street was constructed. 1971 was the last class to graduate from the Scio School because it merged with Jewett School in 1972. Graduates from the class of 1930 and 1936 were the oldest present this year.
