Citizens Financial Group, parent of Citizens Bank, awarded $3,000 in college scholarships to each of 50 children of Citizens employees in the 13-state area the company covers.

Citizens Bank is dually based in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.

About half of the students who received scholarships from Citizens Financial Group this year are attending college, while others are starting in the fall.

In three years, Citizens has committed more than $865,000 in scholarships to children of their employees.
