The Polish American Congress of Northeastern Pennsylvania officials awarded the ‘Stacia Feddock/Joseph Mroz Memorial Scholarship’ to Lindsey Allison Sorber, a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh. Sorber is a graduate of Pittston High School, Class of 2005, and plans to attend medical school to study pediatrics. PAC committee members from left are: Carol Matiko, secretary of PAC and commissioner of District VII Polish National Alliance Northeastern District; Sorber; Felicia Perlik, scholarship committee, secretary of the Polish Women’s Alliance Northeastern District; and Bernard Dymond, scholarship committee, commissioner of District VII Polish National Alliance Northeastern Pennsylvania.
